Justin Auduong is examining the genetic basis for why strains of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum have different efficiencies for taking up extracellular DNA. Justin was awarded the Provost's Undergraduate Fellowship for research in 2025. He recently presented his findings at the UC Davis Undergraduate Research Conference. Congrats to Justin!
